Norris O. Priest, CIC |
Norris graduated from Hebbardsville High School here in Henderson, Kentucky. After working in the funeral home business and serving in the U.S. Army Reserve (100th Division), he went to work in 1960 with Underwriters Adjusting Company as an adjuster traveling Western Kentucky. In 1968 he joined the Maryland Casualty Company as a staff adjuster and was promoted to Claims Manager of the Owensboro Office, which covered southwestern Indiana and western Kentucky. In August 1974 he became a partner in the Vaughn Insurance Agency Company, which he now owns.
Norris is a graduate of the American Institute Inc., which specializes in insurance and received a Certificate of Law for the Claimsman from the Insurance Institute of America and the Life Underwriting Training Council. In 1981 he received a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation from the Society of Insurance Counselors. He has attended many seminars and institutes relating to insurance over his long insurance career.

Nibby Priest, CIC

Nibby Priest began his insurance career in August 1983 as a part-time employee in his father's business while attending Henderson Community College. In the fall of 1984 he left Henderson to attend Eastern Kentucky University. In the spring of 1986 Nibby graduated from EKU with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in insurance and a minor in computer information systems. While at EKU, he was a member of the Gamma Iota Sigma honorary fraternity. In May 1986 he returned to work in the family business. On July 1, 1989, Nibby bought an interest in The Computery of Henderson, Inc., a computer consulting company . Nibby worked in both the insurance and the computer business until the spring 1993 when he sold his interest in The Computery to his partner. Nibby is known nationally for his insurance agency automation consulting work with the AGENA Corporation and National Users of AGENA Systems. He has also worked extensively with Henderson Community College as a part-time instructor in various computer-related classes.

Nibby is a past Chairman and board member for the Henderson County Tourist Commission, Treasurer of the Ohio Valley Art League and Registrar for the Independent Insurance Agents of Henderson.

Terri Knight, ACSR
|
Terri has been employed by the Vaughn Agency since May 1979. She is a graduate of the Henderson Community College office administration program.
Terri obtained her property and casualty insurance license in April 1985. She went on and achieved the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation in May 1991. She is recognized by the Independent Insurance Agents of America. Terri is currently working toward obtaining the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
Terri has been involved with our Relay for Life team "Insure for a Cure" as a team member since 2002.

Richard Hesley
|
Richard began his career in Life and Health insurance in May 1975 with the Commonwealth Life Insurance Co. He has represented Midland Life Insurance, Kentucky Central Life Insurance and Jefferson Pilot Life Insurance Companies.
Richard came to Vaughn Insurance Agency in June 1989. He is responsible for our Life and Health Department. Richard attended Henderson Community College, the University of Tennessee and the University of Alabama. He has attended numerous business management seminars and insurance training courses.
Richard completed the Boy Scouts of American Eagle Scout rank in 1955 and has been a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of American since the age of 21. He has served as Cub Master, Scout Master, District Commissioner, and Asst. Council Commissioner. Richard earned the Silver Beaver Award in 2004.
Richard proudly served the United States Marine Corp from 1959 through 1966. He is now an Ordained Southern Baptist Deacon and regularly attends Hyland Baptist Church and sings in the choir. Richard is a volunteer AARP Safe Driver Program Instructor and has taught several classes to drivers age 55 and over. Richard and his wife Polly currently are taking care of Richard’s mother who is suffering from Alzheimer.

Gina Gish, ACSR

Gina started with Vaughn Insurance Agency in February of 1995. In February 1998 Gina received her ACSR certification and in May of 1998 she received her property & casualty insurance license. She received her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2006.

James T. Roll
|
James is a life long member of the Henderson community. He started his insurance career in April 1994 for American General Life & Accident as a sales agent and was promoted to sales manager after a year. James came to our agency in January 1997 to work primarily with Personal Lines accounts and now assists Terri Knight with Commercial Lines accounts as well.
As a member of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge # 9, Grand Lodge of Kentucky, James obtained the distinction of Past Master and currently serves as secretary. The Masonic lodge helps those in need. Past fundraisers have raised money for St. Anthony’s Hospice, Riverview School, Women & Children’s Shelter and the Children’s Advocacy Center. The Lodge also assists children aged 2 to 5 with free speech therapy and helps provide scholarships to Henderson Community College Nursing Program.
James is also a KHSA certified high school soccer referee and USSF certified. He began refereeing games after volunteering as a coach in recreational soccer leagues and enjoys this opportunity to participate in sports that help young people develop into better citizens.

Judy Greenwald
|
Judy moved to Robards, KY in 1980 to work with the general public in sales and service. She started working in the insurance field in late 1997 and earned her life & health license in early 1998. In 1999 Judy expanded her license to property & casualty. After spending a couple of years working in Evansville, Judy is very happy to be back in Henderson where she feels at home. Judy is currently working toward obtaining the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
For relaxation Judy likes to work on old cars with her husband, as well as doing auto and furniture upholstery. Judy has been a team member of our Relay for Life team "Insure for a Cure" since 2004.
